Where are you now?
Mark this line! Are you 23, 35, or 50 years old?
For example I`m 35 years old
Now draw the line from your birth to the place where you are now.
What does this line represent in your life? What is it about?
This is your past. Your life until now.
Does it exist at this moment?
No. It is already gone. Whatever we experienced on the road on this line no longer exists.
It exists only in one place … IN YOUR HEAD… Bad or Good things that happened in your past exist only in your head as a memory. If you can easily recall them, it means that you have given them a big meaning.
Therefore everything that you have experienced until this moment, can’t be changed. It is in the past, it doesn’t exist… you can not get it back.
Most importantly is to understand that it exists only in your head as memory and there is only the meaning you have given to this memory.
Think a little about this now! Be honest with yourself, and answer these questions!
Are you too preoccupied with your past?
Which events do not give you peace?
Do you attach too much importance to them?
Maybe it`s time to re-question this importance?
Try to see the bigger picture!
