Anxiety is a very unpleasant and determined state that can interfere with all aspects of your daily life.
Take this test below to see whether you have any symptoms common in people with anxiety. The test below only provides an indication, a guide, and is no substitute for competent one-to-one medical advice. So if you feel anxious most of the day and night be aware you should see a doctor.
As a general guideline, the bands are:
Mild (0-5),
Moderate (6-10),
Moderately severe (11-15),
Severe (15-21),
Scores over 10 particularly warrant following up.
If they are low but you still have concerns, please do take further action. Go to see the doctor.
However, the duration or severity of an anxious feeling can sometimes be out of proportion to the original trigger, or stressor. Physical symptoms, such as increased blood pressure, heart rating, headaches, nausea, etc, can also develop. These responses can move beyond anxiety into an anxiety disorder.
